Do women simply prefer some cars to others?

The answer according to a recent study is yes. If you're a women, are these cars, one that you drive, or have wanted to buy? It turns out that there are several make and model vehicles that have a higher number of women buyers than men.

At Lakewood's car dealer, Mark's Auto Sales, more than 50% of cars are purchased by women, and even more car purchases are influenced by women, whether they are the wife, mother or girlfriend of the man buying a vehicle, but weighs in their decisions.

Tomorrow, Chrysler will end production of the Chrysler PT Cruiser. Many PT Cruisers loved it, others thought the small retro designed wagon was ugly. It was, however, a car that got a lot of talking about. With the economy, unfortunately for those who loved it, is just one of many models that have been cut from the assembly lines.

SUV, for luxury or sport?

With so many SUVs and crossovers on the road, and with each new model year more luxury features, I must bring up a question -- What is it that you are looking for in an SUV? When you purchase an SUV are you looking for luxury or sport? After all it is called, a "Sport Utility Vehicle."

Some prefer them for off-roading and driving in the snow. While others prefer an SUV as a status symbol, others for its capacity to move passengers and cargo, without having to resort to a minivan.

Great new for the auto industry and the rest of us!

The last couple years have been hard on auto manufacturers as well as Americans and our economy. Demand for new vehicles tanked and has had a slow recovery since. It comes as great news that GM is continuing to produce cars over their typical summer factory shutdown period, indicating a greater demand for their cars.
